Pizza da Piero Launches Summer Campaign with €500 Prize Giveaway
Family-run Irish food brand teams up with influencer Jen Carroll and Dominic Smith Expert Electrical, for the ultimate summer pizza party prize
Just in time for sunny evenings and al fresco dining, Irish food producer, Pizza da Piero, has today (Friday, 23rd of May 2025) launched a new summer campaign with a €500 prize giveaway.
One lucky winner will receive a DeliVita Diavolo Gas-Fired Pizza Oven, courtesy of Dominic Smith Expert Electrical, along with a Pizza da Piero hamper packed with their multi-award-winning sourdough pizza bases, a pizza board, tray, and cutter, and branded aprons for adults and kids.
The competition is being launched in collaboration with well-known lifestyle and interiors influencer Jennifer Carroll (aka @jens_journey_ie via Instagram), who recently revealed her dream kitchen makeover - complete with her own new pizza oven. Jen, a fan of the brand, says:
“I’ve been using Pizza da Piero bases for years - they’re made with such good quality ingredients and taste amazing. They’re also a healthier option, which I love - high in protein, light, and made without any artificial additives. And now that I have a pizza oven, it takes homemade pizza nights to the next level this summer!”
Pizza da Piero is a family-run Irish business, founded by Italian-born Piero De Vallier, and his Dublin wife Cliona Swan, who brought his family's sourdough secrets to Ireland. Each base is made fresh daily in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, using just six ingredients and no preservatives or artificial additives. Each base is made with pre-fermented sourdough starter and left for over 48 hours to rest and be mixed. They are vegan-friendly, dairy-free, and freezer-friendly, and cook in just five minutes — perfect for busy households and summer get-togethers.
Piero says: “We wanted to create a product that brings people together — pizza bases that are delicious and made with care. It’s about enjoying great food with the people you love.”
Available in 12" and 5” mini sizes, Pizza da Piero’s bases and pizza sauce are sold in Dunnes Stores, Tesco, SuperValu, Avoca, and independent retailers across the country. In Northern Ireland, they’re stocked in Dunnes grocery outlets and Indie Füde in Belfast.
The competition will run on Jennifer Carroll’s Instagram page in collaboration with Pizza da Piero. Entrants can follow along for a chance to win and for recipes, pizza night inspiration, and summer serving tips. The competition closes and the winner will be announced on Friday, 13th June.
Looking ahead, Pizza da Piero will be teaming up with some of their favourite Irish food producers for a mini summer series of social media competitions running from late June through August - celebrating great local ingredients and inspiring at-home summer gatherings with family and friends.
